These worked great!
Pros:
1. I shot .45 auto, 9mm, AR-15 5.56, a Mk 46 5.56 belt fed on an outdoor range and another AR-15 in an indoor range.
2. They take AAA battery's. It seems to last a long time.
3.When you turn the dial all the way up it's like having super sonic hearing.( i am considering using these when watchingTV with my wife so she does not complain about how load the volume is) yet they still block out all loud noises as advertised.
4. I wear a cowboy hat with these as well as a tactical Ops Core Fast Helmet and they fit and work good for that behind the neck. I also had on eye protection and seal stayed good.
Cons:
1.Batterys are kind of annoying to change. it take 2 AAA battery on each side (total of 4) and you have to remove the foam inserts to put new battery in.
2. The volume knob stays fine while wearing, but when you put it in a bag the knob is unintentionally bumped and batteries are drained out eventually. Which takes you back to con number 1. a fix for this would be to make a pull out knob, that you pull out and then turn clock wise.
3. When running and shooting (I ran a lot and shot) These begin to slowly slip down your ears.
4. When wearing body armor in the prone these get bumped while trying to shoot.
The cons is why they get 4 stars and not 5 but they are affordable and made in the USA!
