The pen writes extraordinarily well and has a great, heavy feel to it, but the clip feels very weak. I worry about the clip breaking in the future.

The matte black and monochrome finish is just about as intense as you could get. The juxtaposition of this appearance against the classical and traditionalist character of FPs in general make this a real animal of a writing instrument. The sort of FP that Batman would use...

Nice pen, terrible cap

I have the pen for about a year or so. It is a wet writer and the medium is produces lines that are wider than normal mediums. The nib is very smooth, has some give and writes nicely in all strokes you might use. My problem with it is with the cap, which now is pretty loose and does not seal the nib in anymore. This gives you a cheap cattery feel when you hold then pen in you hand while the cap is on. As it seems there is no other solution other than to buy a replacement cap and hope/wait for it to happen again. While this is not making the pen unusable it is pretty bad for a $350 fountain pen from Parker. If you search online you will see that this is indeed a common problem.

I used a frontier, a sonnet, and many vectors before, but this pen is... oh... this pen writes like a dream, absolutely fantastic. I love that feeling of heaviness, and a touch of metal is exactly what I have been looking for.

Some say the cap is a design flaw, and you may leave your finger prints on the pen body, so my solution was I purchased a pen pouch for it. This lovely pen deserves a pouch.

Great pen to write with evenly balanced for those who like fountain pens. It's a limited edition run, looks great! Well done Parker also a great price for a limited run pen which is great to use and looks stunning. Moreover it can use both the quick Change cartridge or fill from an ink bottle which is a cool feature too. Recommend to all.
