I can't deny that paper towels are my creature comfort. I am a stay at home mother, and live half my life in the kitchen, or cleaning spills, and 3 boys. I could not find my rolls of paper towels, so I just had to have something! I tried these, and paired them with a lovely wire n wood basket to look good in my kitchen. I am absolutely in love with them. They are actually more gentle on my hands than roll paper towels. I have used them for everything under the sun for three days running and have only used a half of package! I have fried things, and had these catch the oil without getting frayed or coming apart. I have cleaned my counters, and my windows, and picked up water near my dishwasher successfully. I love these a lot and plan to continue ordering them. I do plan to get another basket so I can put a few in my guest bathroom. These don't smell, and they have a bit of texture to them if you are wondering. I am a picky person, and these fully satisfy my needs.

Accidentally ordered 42,000 paper towels instead of 4,200. My neighbors are overjoyed, and I'm a very popular king of a small hill. A hill built exclusively from paper towels.

As Armageddon continues onward, I can scribe the entire history of mankind on these, and still have enough leftover to blow my nose a thousand times daily.

We have a very active home with friends and family using our blacksmith metalshop, garage, and our barn full of horses. I dont want to use our fancy guest towels and have them ruined, and a roll of paper towels always ends up wet on the bottom or finger prints all over the top. I do not want to drill into any walls for a dispenser or roll holder so I use a top load attractive sheet holder for these such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078Z35CQ8
These are very sturdy but yet absorbent and comfortable. Not crinkly and hard and like out of a gas station. They have a lovely design imprinted into the towel as well. Very happy!

Nightmare Towels - What a mess!

These are substandard towels that are filled with little bits of paper waste. I forgave the manufacture with the first packet was opened and bits of paper fell to the floor with each use. But after the 4,5,6 packets - this is causing work for me and my staff! The ease of ordering on line and having something delivered - has been lost on the work these towels have created. I will never purchase a Pacific Blue select PREMIUM towel again. Quality control is not there thing!

Well, I've run through what's availabile locally/Amazon and here's my review of the different brand multifold towels. My review is based on using a SINGLE towel to dry freshly washed (and gently shaked) hands. Requirement was to have sufficiently dry hands (absorbancy) without easily tearing (durability). Ratings are 1-5 stars. I did not factor in price (they are all within ~$10 of each other) or box quantity.

SCOTT Multifold Paper Towels (Amazon)
Absorbency: ** (2 stars)
Durability: ***** (5 stars)
Overall: ** (2 stars)
These ranked lowest on absorbency (only wax paper is less absorbent), but high on durability. Two towels required to sufficiently dry hands, but little/no tearing.

Marathon Multifold Paper Towels (Costco)
Absorbency: *** (3 stars)
Durability: ** (2 stars)
Overall: *** (3 stars)
Your average towel. Med absorbency, med durability. You effectively needed two towels to dry OR carefully dry with one towel. Rips easily when wet.

Top of the line. Excellent absorbency and durability, easily drys hands with one towel without ripping/tearing. Good comfortable texture and composition, almost approaches fabric in appearance and feel. As far as I'm concerned, these are the towels by which all others are measured.
