won't work on my system

My gaming motherboard is a ASROCK Pro 3 and my CPU is AMD FX 8320 eight-core Processor 3.50 GHz running Windows 10. everything matched in the description as the installed memory, but when I installed the new memory NOTHING system would not boot up at all. I think they need to put more information in the description such as memory compatibility and such. other than not being able to use. the memory look fantastic.

Trouble with first set but quick replacement and still a great buy!

This is Good RAM and I love G.Skill but the packaging could be improved or it could be delivered in a box rather than a padded envelope. In short, first order was DOA, replacement was sent immediately and worked great. If this is compatible with your system, it's a great set of memory for a decent price. Good buy.

My kid wanted to upgrade his computer and had $100 of birthday money to spend so I got him this. First set that was delivered came with some damage to the plastic packaging (some cracks and dents) but the ram looked okay physically. I removed the old stick of ram and installed these. I turned the PSU back on and started the computer but it didn't boot up. Pulled the ram and reinstalled the old stick and the system was working again. I double checked that thesr specific memory modules were compatible with my system and they were so the ones that were delivered were just defective or, more likely, shocked in transit. I'm super careful handling any electronics parts. I have a dedicated grounding port that I connect my work surface to as well as my wrist strap. I'm very experienced at building my own systems so nothing I did damaged this, it was just DOA. Due to the quick replacement I am not taking any stars off of my review.

The computer was running out of memory with only 8 Gigs. The price differential wasn't too bad going up to this 16 gig package from another 8 gig package so I bought it. Plugged it in and now there are 24 gigs available. Didn't do anything to the BIOS. Didn't play with the fancy settings so I can't say if it runs really fast or turtle slow. I do know I never get close to running out of memory now, so however fast it is, it worked for my needs.

They did just barely fit under the CPU cooler. So if you have space issues, you might want plain rectangular ram without the fancy tall shapes on them

I use my PC for gaming, and had 2 x 4Gb sticks of RipJaw DDR3 already installed. I decided to upgrade and hopefully keep my old cards in the process. While my heat sink made the ports a bit of a pain to access, they popped in (and make sure they're IN, you gotta use a bit of pressure or else you'll brick, but at least that's a quick way to know if its in or not) and after that my installed RAM was at 24GBs according to my OS. So far my frames have been better in games like Arma 3 that used to absolutely annihilate my PC. It's been 2 months since and no problems so I'm more than happy to recommend these cards.

Ordered the product in the AM, recieved it before nightfall now my PC has the max System Memory its motherboard is equipped to handle. As you see in photo this is not the only time I ordered this product, and certainly won't be the last time as I have another PC in need of better RAM. Love the red case, easy to hold easy to install and is aesthetically pleasing. For me it's a 10/10
