I am a big fan of Hercules products and have several of their stands and wall hangers. That said, this lock isn't particularly useful, especially for security. As the Auto Grip System on their wall hangers already hold guitars safely in, this lock doesn't really add much utility. It does ensure that the yoke won't open, but that isn't really a problem without it. As far as security, this adds nothing at all. It's so easy to unlock that I can do it with my fingers and never actually use the key.
While I wholeheartedly recommend Hercules AGS stands and hangers, don't waste your money on this lock. It's essentially useless.
