I used it to attach a Nikon DSLR (2") to my Skywatcher P250 dobsonian telescope's 1.25" port (scope came with 2 to 1.25" adapter).
I had to use it with a barlow lens to achieve focus. That's fine since even with the 2x barlow, the planets were small and I had to crop it.

I have a Celestron 130SLT/nikon D7100 and the adapter works. The problem I have is that it won't focus without a barlow. I pushed the camera all the way in and lowered the eyepiece all the way and it still needs to be closer, but with the barlow, it can focus. However, I don't see how the adapter design could solve this, so 5 stars. I haven't taken any pictures of the sky yet (cloudy and rainy of course), but I did take some pics of the farm nearby and it works! Camera must be on 'M' manual.

This will not secure your DSLR attached to a X-Cel Barlow for planetary imaging. The diameter is a bit wider than those of exact specification on Celestron adapter and X-Cel eyepieces image train with Barlow. DO NOT PURCHASE if you’ll be using it for a X-Cel barlow. The compression ring in the X-Cel Barlow will not lock. I did however kept the T-ring that came with it. I have purchased a Celestron adapter with threaded T-ring instead.
