This is a great paste! Baby enjoyed it, and it did the trick. It's a nice mellow flavor, not too sweet. It's a bit pricey for the size, hence the 4 stars. I felt the need to write a review because of the ridiculous comments about the black stripe on the tube indicating all chemicals. That mark is for the machines to identify where to cut the tubes in the factory. The stripe color story is a hoax, please look it up before you spread nonsense. Also, the description is for natural toothpaste, not organic "toothpast."

It’s not a natural or organic toothpast ! It has a black stripe on the back that means pure chemicals !
Is the stripe green it’s organic this one isn’t and thats why they didn’t show a picture of the back of the toothpast !!!
If you don’t mind pure chemicals then go ahead and purchase this one !
Disappointed going to throw it away !

So I found out long after my son's teeth came in that you are actually supposed to start brushing a baby's teeth as soon as they get them. Oops! I had purchased the Frida Baby training toothbrush kit, but as a first-time mom, I had no idea what kind of toothpaste to buy. After doing a little bit of research (hi, Google) the general consensus that I got was that he was a little young for fluoride, but I wanted to make sure I was at least doing my part to get him on the right track with taking care of his teeth (especially given that I will be reminding him the rest of his life that I, his mother, have never had a cavity before). Truthfully, I chose this one because it seemed like one of the more natural versions out there, and it was one of the few brands of baby toothpaste that didn't come in a huge multipack. I mean, he had like six tiny Tic Tac-sized teeth for most of his life, I didn't think I'd be able to go through 4 packages of baby toothpaste before it expired essentially. Regardless, he seemed to LOVE the flavor, as I am still not sure how much of it actually ended up on his teeth versus what he was sucking up the straw but he at least seemed to enjoy it :) He's a year and a half now, so our dentist told us we should be switching to fluoride toothpaste which is the only reason we stopped using this. It smells (and tastes, I imagine) great and I'm pretty sure any kid would look forward to sucking down this flavor as long as their parents will let them (sorry, Bud).

i had bought a few different flavors of toothpaste from the grocery store and my little one did not take to the flavor (i eventually deduced). and i won't lie, when i tried the store grocery toothpastes, they were rough! this flavor is light and not overwhelming. she probably won't let me use anything other than this particular brand / flavor for a long time.
