Does not replace a utility knife for construction work, but it functions perfectly as a box cutter. Get the pointed blade and a pack of extra blades also. Should last quite a long time.

I have dropped several of my slice box cutters and thought the entire piece had to be tossed. I finally realized that all I had to do was replace the blade. I found these replacement blades and they fit perfectly in the slice cutter. The only issue for me was the price per quantity as there are only four replacement blades for the price. I can purchase an entire new slice box cutter for the price of the replacement blades.

Purchased this to replace my Slice cutters. I have no problems cutting cardboard boxes and at the same time I don't have to worry about accidentally cutting my fingers. I can't really say they last longer than the traditional utility knife blades, but the safety factor alone, I'm sold on this ceramic blade.
