You do have to use pins and take our extra links, I didnt think it was that hard. The band is sturdy it seems but it's obviously not precious metal. Basically I like it because it matches my Vivomove HR, doesn't chaff my wrist, it gives the watch some substance, and IT'S PRETTY!

I wanted something different than the white rubber strap that came with my Garmin, and this looked great.
It IS a little tricky to get the fitting right, I have very small wrists and had to remove a lot of links until I got the snug fit necessary to track heart rate and feel the vibration for alerts. Luckily strap came with all the necessary tools to do this, and once I got the hang of the removal it was a breeze.

Not crazy about the white that still shows, but it’s definitely nice to have an optional color strap just for a change ever so often.
The clasp is strong and it is easy to release by pressing the side of the clasp.

I have a garmin vivomove hr and this fits it well. I’m not allergic to it (as I am to anything with nickel or miscellaneous metals that aren’t stainless steel), and it’s pretty easy to adjust and get onto the watch with the quick release springs. I’ve just ordered a new one because the one I’ve been using daily for a year and a half or more has started leaving weird stains on my wrist. In comparing it to the new one, the old one has lost a lot of the rose gold color and just become gold. It’s hard to see in the picture, but the new one is on the watch and the old is lined up next to it — noticeably golder. The second picture is a closeup of the part of the band that’s leaving the marks on my wrist - it’s oddly spotted, like finish is rubbing off. This is pretty cheap, so that’s not super surprising, but worth mentioning in a review. I’ll note that it did not leave a rash or itchiness, just the weird staining. For anyone who’s concerned about potential nickel allergies though, I break out in hives after a few hours. You should be safe with this.

****EDIT: it turns out I am allergic to this and broke out in a rash that I just couldn’t get rid of while wearing the band. This was the second one I’d purchased - the first one never caused any issues. The second did within the first week. Maybe there was a change in the manufacturing somewhere? Regardless, cannot recommend for anyone with nickel allergies.
