These are great for kitchen and cleaning. Quite absorbent and I liked that they were just a little smaller that the average size microfiber cloths. The number one important things is that you know how to properly care for a microfiber cloth or they can become almost useless. Here is what I've found works quite well...
Always wash your new microfiber cloths before first use:
1. Fully wet microfiber cloths before washing
2. Use a very small amount of mild detergent (no heavy fragrance or dyes) without an added softener in it
3. NO FABRIC SOFTENER (they become less absorbent)
4. Always wash on cold
5. Use gentle or handwash cycle
6. Always dry with low heat (higher heat is bad for microfiber cloths) or no heat (air tumble dry)
7. NO DRYER SHEET (they become less absorbent)

I had read about microfiber rags but did not believe they could be so much better than old rags that I don't have to pay for. But I had an injury and could not do good housecleaning for way too long and I thought I had to hire a professional, but first I researched many articles regarding the best cleaning products, and what professional cleaners use. Every article and service suggested the most important cleaning tool was microfiber rags. Also I read some science articles about how the microfiber material works. These were very inexpensive for the quality, so I bought them. My injury is improved so I started cleaning with these and they really do make a difference in efficiency and require less strength and less cleaning product to scrub everything clean. I used them on everything--sinks, tubs, cupboards, chairs, walls, etc.

I love these microfiber cleaning cloths! I bought my first set last summer and loved them so much that I bought more a couple months later. I use them all over my house from washing dishes and wiping down countertops to using them dry to dust.

One of my very favorite things about these cloths is how easy it is to clean greasy stovetops (after frying bacon) or a particularly greasy dish. Before I would have to clean my black stovetop several times before I would no longer see greasy streak marks, no matter what cleaning product I used. But with these cloths, they clean up the grease the first time and I am left with a sparkling stovetop every single time.

Washing these are super easy too. I wash them separately of everything else and use only cold or eco- warm water setting and then hang to dry. The best cleaning product I have bought in ages!

PS- For cleaning glass, I bought the fine microfiber cloths that are specifically made for glass windows, mirrors, etc.

I've been doing a lot of cleaning since we just went through a remodel, and ordered these cloths a while back after reading all the glowing reviews here. Since the price was reasonable I ordered a dozen and I've been using them extensively for cleaning mirrors, dusting, and other general cleaning and I must say that the reviews don't exaggerate their usefulness.

They will snag on anything that's slightly rough; some of my furniture is over 60 years old and the finish is not smooth. When using these cloths to dust it, they did snag and actually pulled off a small piece of veneer which had previously cracked. But that's the only problem I've had with them.

I wash them in a small wash load when a pile of them accumulates in the laundry room so they won't get clogged with lint from other fabrics, and so far they come out of the wash clean, which is also nice since I hate to clean with a rag that looks dirty.
