Another Horrible money grubbing company making a simple product unusable.

I great looking product, great history, Very excited to have such a cool looking device in my race car shop. But, no, because, apparently this company is run by 30 something data mining idiots.
A simple Bluetooth connection, is circumvented by requiring a Marshall products app. Why?
What is the reason I need your app to make a bluetooth connection?
OK, so I'll humour you and load your app, No, you don't need my email address, no, I don't want to be kept up to date. The app's screen has a nice "Play" button, but unfortunately no indication to what it is supposed to play. Where is the content coming from?, itunes? No apparently not. The iphone shows it's connected via bluetooth, but refuses to play from the iphone, itunes music app. I spend some time looking for help online....nope. Well, I have more important things to do in my life, other than learn how to make this work, so,
IN THE TRASH WITH YOU!!
I guess I'll stick with my 15 year old Bose speaker. (Which connects seamlessly, without an app, and without me telling it too)
Please stop making simple devices overly difficult just because you want to mine my data.

Got the product delivered to my office and the box was pretty damaged.. I opened the box and thankfully there was no damage but it seemed the product was used even though I ordered a new speaker. I plugged the speaker In and…. No power.. it won’t even turn on needless to say I will be returning the item

I'm so glad to finally get this speaker. It is beautiful! My only surprise was the leather-like material has a seam from the bottom to the back of the speaker that I was not expecting. It's really hard to notice on pics posted online. The sound surprised me the most. This speaker is LOUD and the bass is so deep.

The app is completely outdated and needs a lot of work but it is not needed to use. The app allows you to control the speaker form your phone but it's not helpful with playing music from your phone. I just uninstalled the app and connected my phone and record player to it as any other bluetooth device from my phone settings.

Overall this speaker is a little pricey but completely worth it for the incredible sound and looks.

I’m so happy with this product. I was a little bit worried from the dent in the box but it was perfectly secured. The sound is amazing from this compact box. The Bluetooth distance is limited, however that’s certainly due to the limits of the protocol… not the box. The app to control it seems fine, it has several preset equalizer sets. You can change them on the fly.
