First off, a disclaimer for other reviewers: DO NOT REMOVE POINTS BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAVE WIRELESS. This is Microsoft's decision, they do not allow third party wireless controllers and has nothing to do with Hyperkin.
With that out of the way, cons first: the only reason I removed a star is these two reasons: if you travel even somewhat frequently with this thing like I do and have to unplug it often on the controller side, the plastic casing (or something, I'm not sure what) wears away after a while and you may find the controller disconnecting from just small movements you make. I had to replace it. If that was the only issue I wouldn't have removed a star since a cable is a cheap replacement, but the plastic coating the center button/screen is also cheap and very easily scratched, which is an odd design choice given the quality of the rest of the controller, and I have taken this thing completely apart and reassembled it so I have a better idea of that than most.
Now for what's good about it. The controller itself is basically a modernized and higher quality version of the original Duke, aside from the previously mentioned issues. For example, the original Duke had spring mechanisms in the triggers that offered a bit too much resistance and would wear out over time. I would not recommend this to anyone who doesn't have big hands, but for me, a 6'3 man with big hands (don't mind my name, it's a family account), this is the only controller I can use comfortably for more than an hour. The shoulder buttons don't have the greatest size or placement, but they're not bad either. I don't really blame Hyperkin for that because all they're trying to do is modernize the Duke which didn't have shoulder buttons to begin with, so given what they're working with, they did the best they could and I doubt anyone else could do better.
Really, I'd recommend this only for people who love the Duke or have big hands. It's a niche thing, but for that niche, it's REALLY good.

Pros:
1. Vivid color (not pure red, it is very red orange—let’s say red blood orange)
2. Build quality
3. Center screen is great (pointless, but I love the launch screen from the OG Xbox)
Cons:
1. Button layout feels foreign at first—took me a few days to really get used to it (the Duke is not just a bigger version of the standard Xbox controller)
I would love a wireless variant, and more colors choices—I’m happy with my choice of color though.

I loved tbe original “big” controller for the original Xbox so I had to have it. My only complaints are that it’s not wireless but comes with a 9ft detachable cable and the shoulder buttons could be a little bigger. Other than that, it’s a solid replica.2020年9月8日 在美国审核
Update Aug 2021
Had to drop 4 stars. It hasnt even been a full year and this controller started having serious drift issues. Directions keep randomly going back and forth. This shouldn’t be happening for a $70 controller on my least used console, after less than a year
