I've owned many laptop backpacks used for air travel, and this one offers far more and better organized storage than any other I've used, yet somehow maintains a pretty low profile. There's no doubt in my mind that when moderately full, it would easily fit under an airline seat.
The workmanship is excellent, and the outer surface itself is water resistant, so there should be no worries if you get caught in the rain.
The back straps are easily adjustable, and the whole affair is lightweight and quite comfortable to carry around, even loaded with a bunch of stuff. There is also a handle on top, so you can alternately carry it briefcase-style.
Here is a list of the zippered compartments, from front to back:
1) The top horizontal pocket provides a good space for travel documents like boarding passes, itineraries, passports, and other paperwork you may need quick access to. I'm using the lower pocket to store power supplies, rechargeable battery packs, and other bulky items.
2) Contains dedicated pockets for easy access to things like your smartphone, pad/pens, external hard drives, SD cards/thumb drives, and other smaller PC accessories.
3) A large storage compartment, with zippered mesh bags on each side. As advertised, you could probably fit a spare set of clothing in there.
4) The compartment containing the device storage pockets. There are some troubling design issues there, which I'll discuss below.
5) Non-zippered pockets on each side for water bottles, or anything else approximately that size.
Finally, on to what seems to be the main feature of this product, which is the compartment containing pockets for your tablet and laptop. There are design issues with these which concern me, because neither holds the devices very securely at all.
- There is a Velcro closure strap on the laptop side, but the way it's sewn on still allows my 13x9” wide laptop to slide up and down about 3”. That's allows an awful lot of “rattle space” for the laptop to move around in, which of course can't be helped when carrying something like this around.
- As for the tablet pocket on the other side, there is absolutely NOTHING to hold the device in place. Mine is 10x7” which is rather large, but even in its case still freely floats around inside the pocket, in both directions.
That said, you'd be well-advised to always remember never to open the device compartment unless the backpack is sitting on its bottom, or laid out flat. If the compartment is opened and either side is tilted even slightly downwards, your tablet will without a doubt be going on a hazardous ride onto the floor. I'd expect the laptop would stay in, as long as you've secured the Velcro strap as tightly as possible.
I've no experience with taking it through security checkpoints yet, so I really can't comment on how that would be received by TSA officers. They usually want you to put tablets and laptops into separate bins, so I'm not sure they'd allow you to simply open this backpack and lay it on the conveyor belt. If nothing else, I suspect they'd at least want the devices removed from their pouches and laid on top of them, which would be no big deal at all if they would indeed allow you to do that. I'll see when I make my next trip, and try to remember to update my experiences with that here at a later date.
All in all, this is a very nice backpack, except for the issues with the device pockets. If those design problems didn't exist, I would have easily rated this product 5/5 stars.

This DELL backpack has pros and cons. Overall it is a good purchase and looks nice but I prefer my old one.2019年6月21日 在美国审核
What I do not like:
-In front has some sort of faux leather that I can bet will peel off when older
-My coffee mug barely fits in the bottle compartment
- Front section is too narrow. Hard to reach and find things.
What I like:
A lot ot space, in the pictures you will see a 15.6" DELL laptop that fits perfectly, and also that the front section has about9 inces depth, second and 3rd section are more than 12 inches and have a lot of pockets and pen holder for 4 sections. On sides has space for a bottle ( 1 on each side). As you can see can hold 2 hardrives cases, a mouse case, A4 notepad, 2 x A5 notepad and a lot of other things that I carry to work.
