No Way To Tell My Light Is Also A Speaker And Works Flawless!!!!

My wife has been using her iPhone to listen to music in the bathroom while getting ready for work and we all know the wonderful sound quality the iPhone does not have specially when you mix in the sound of shower. I started to think of ways to improve it for her and came across this Juno speaker light. The bad reviews were before they released an over the air update that addressed the connection and play next problems.
The speaker updated soon as I had internet connection to it and the speaker responds to both my wifes iPhone and my LG phone perfectly every time.
The sound quality is good but no concert sound that I kind of was hoping since it is JBL. I do wish that music could still be played with the light off with some sort of battery integrated. The light works great too and was able to adjust the color to perfectly match my other lights in the bathroom.
My only real gripe would be the price it is expensive but with a 5 year warranty hopefully will be worth it. Hope this helps and thanks.

Will not stay connected avoid at all costs

Installation was very easy, setup in the app was very easy as well. Initial bluetooth setup was seamless, but it would disconnect after 1 or 2 songs and would not reconnect with out forgetting device, turning the light switch off and on, finding new device and the cycle would repeat. Tried it on two different IOS devices with the same results. When I took it down to return it, the top was too hot to touch. This may have a thermal problem, bluetooth radio problem or both. This product should be recalled or seriously redesigned. $300 for a product that has problems is never going to fly. Tech support was not available on Saturday, so return label was just printed.

Won’t allow switchless operation

This product has a few flaws. We installed 2 units in a vacation home bathroom. It won’t stream Sirius xm from the Alexa app correctly. It freezes and cuts the music off at random. Is slow to respond to input. Amazon music works ehh, just ok.

My biggest complaint is that we wanted to use the unit without a switch. Always powered on but then app disable the light to off. When the power goes out due to service issues the lights turn on and stay on. (When were not there, or when the tenant is there) The customer service was rude and un-accomidating.

A good company takes feedback and sends it to their development team. Not this place. Juno customer service barks at their purchasers that “it’s never gonna happen”

My request was that there be a feature programmed into the firmware of the devices and the app that allows the device owner to set the unit to always on, but light controlled by the app. Like, simple request, that easily provides a unique feature.

Had they listened we might have purchased 20 of these for the whole property but noooo, instead they are stuck in stupid and treat people poorly.

Shocked at sound quality

Spent thousands on home speakers upstairs. Saw this product when my basement was getting completed. Was shocked at the quality. It works well with Alexa and overall I was happy enough to purchases additional ones for my basement. My basement is only 1,000 sq ft and 1 speaker light would work fine but why not have the entire basement sound like you are at a concert.

So far, I am really enjoying this product. My family already used Alexa every day in our kitchen, but we wanted to hear Amazon Music better in our open floor plan living room that is adjacent to the kitchen. I created a speaker group in the Alexa app, so that my existing echo and this new speaker light both play music together at the same time. Now, Amazon Music sounds great throughout the entire first floor of our house. It worked seamlessly with my existing echo product.

As a side note, the installation was very easy. Don’t be scared, it’s a DIY job if you just follow the directions. The app was simple too.

I like this product so much that Im planning to buy the built-in alexa version of this product for our bathroom. I’ve wanted to add Alexa to the bathroom, but I didn’t have room to clutter our small bathroom vanity with an echo dot. I tried the echo flex that you plug into an outlet, but the speaker isn’t great, and I only have 1 outlet in the bathroom. This product is going to solve those problems.
