The startup instructions directed me to download the DTS Sound Unbound application before connecting the headphones. I found that app to cost $19.99 so I took a chance and just plugged in the wireless USB dongle and turned on the headphones. Voila! The sound works perfectly with the Windows sound drivers. No need to get complicated unless you need advanced sound settings.

Although I rated the sound and bass as 5 stars, I don't want it to be understood that these are equal to top of line Sennheisers for listening. However, I found music listening to be pleasant if audiophile ears are not criticizing. There is plenty of bass as well as detail in the midrange and treble. Separation between left and right earphones in stereo sounds like there is zero crossover.

I plan to use these in online meetings primarily as I have other higher rated headphones for listening. However, I was attracted by the wireless connection to the PC as well as the flip-up-to-mute boom mic which I find convenient for calls and meetings on the computer. Will try it out today with MS Teams and report back if there are any issues.

Used these in several MS Teams meetings after posting the initial review. They are exactly what I wanted. The mic muted when flipped up. That worked perfectly. Holding down the power button for a few seconds turns the device on or off with a beep. A green LED shows when on and the LED on the USB dongle goes from blinking red to solid red when the headset is on and connected.
Apparently, there is also an automatic shutoff after a while of no sound. This did not happen during meetings--only after disconnecting from a meeting and laying them down on the desk. When powering on, the phones instantly connect to the computer and are ready to go. Less of a lag than Bluetooth. Range is about 20 to 30 feet and is affected by obstacles--moreso if the obstacle is large and metallic--like a refrigerator.

Even though my headphones didn't last a long time, the customer service is amazing. After having these headphones for a couple of months, my coworkers started complaining of hearing static through my mic. So I messaged the company to tell them of the issue and they went ahead and replaced the headphones for me. It's great customer service like this that will make me buy their products and trust that they care for their customers.

These are amazing. Unreal sound quality for the price. Ordered a pair about 3 years ago, and saw them on sale and bought another, just in case.

I won't go into details but have literally lost track of the number of time I can hear things in games, before my friends can while playing together.

I don't doubt there are $300 headphones that are better but these are absolutely phenomenal for the price. Pick these up, and you will not regret it.

Sadly I have a cat who has decided wired headsets are a no go. They never chewed on any other wires I have but recently the two headsets I had were of soft wire. Kitten bit right through it. One was an expensive $300+ dollar high end headset that some streamers use, though in all honesty it wasnt worth that much. You would think a $300+ dollar headset would have a wire covered in the hard braided material. None the less the wire can be replaced, for how much I dont know, but I felt going with wireless would be the safe route for now though I sacrifice sound quality greatly.

Most headsets I have owned, wired, will always sound way better. Even my wired Cougar headsets were near this price or cheaper at the time but sounded like studio sound quality but I just dont want to risk it. Plus the wire was braided for that cheap. I wont be using the mic, since I have a high quality desk mic. I worry more over my mic then the headset. But for those trying to actually look for something that sounds good i would not go for these. You get what you paid for. A friend did recommend a headset a while back which I did buy and the sound quality was very very good for a wireless but it was not cheap compared to this but not as expensive as my $300+ ones. (Plantronics Gaming Headset, RIG 800HD Wireless Gaming Headset) Sadly the plastic of the Plantronics feels way thinner and cheaper than these ones. I accidentally dropped my Plantronics off my desk and part of one earphone broke and it was not repairable. I ended up tossing them out and going for the $300+ dollar headsets cause the boyfriend recommended them.

For the quality of the plastic I say these feel sturdy. I can shake my head and they are not flying off. But for sound I did take a star off. I feel like the sound quality compared to cheap headphones they offer you on a plane when you forget yours. The quality is basic, clear, with not much humph to the bass. But for the price I knew the risk, and my assumptions as to how it was going to sound was right. If you really care about sound quality and dont mine going wired, id highly suggest going with wired.

I've owned a few headsets for PC over the years. This is probably the best one I've owned to date.
-It is lightweight / comfy to the point that I sometimes forget that I am wearing it. The wireless aspect also helps greatly, I will probably never go back to wired
-Very easy to use, I just plugged in the Bluetooth usb, held down the power button, and it worked
-Sturdy, I guess the way I picked up my old headset by the ear caused it to eventually break at the joint. Joints are metal on this one though
-The mic is also very easy to use, just raise it up or down if you want to talk or not
-Battery life is always a worry but I've never ran out while using it as of yet
-Sound is pretty good: spatial works well, decent bass, no complaints considering the price / wireless
-Only downside I can think of is the volume control. It spins freely / accidentally sometimes, interesting design though, I think it has an optical sensor or something rather than a max/min, overall not a big deal.

Overall, I really like this headset, definitely deserving of a full rating!
