Great camera - decent quality - but why the blinking light in the front?

I have to say that this mini security camera is great. I like he fact that it is small-mini sized, and the clip is great at sticking onto your t-shirt.
This body camera is also very very easy to turn on. One click of the button. And you utilize the same button to start recording and press the same button to stop recording.
I have recently purchased the 128 GB built-in body camera.

I hope the maker of this body camera reads this comment/review from me.
But the only reason why I gave you guys four-stars for this product, is the blinking light is large, and located on the FRONT of the body camera.

Why is the blinking red light on the front of the camera? It gives it away to others that you are recording them. Yes, if you are a police officer or security guard and recording something, that is fine.
But if you are a regular person needing a small body camera when you out to do grocery shopping or shopping at the mall, you don't want other people seeing you with a mini body camera with a large blinking red light.
Compare this to other body cameras, and they have very tiny secret lights blinking, or the indicator light is located at the top of the body camera, and the indicator recording light is very small.

Battery is great and tons of space for videos.
Difficult to clip at a good angle.
Night vision only works when 2ft or closer to desired item. Even with my head lamp on.
Doesn't need a program to view files. Just plugs into computer. Videos saved in segments. Controls are simple, just gotta memorize them.
I bought this because I run at night but because the night vision is so bad I returned it.

I purchased this camera back in Nov 2021. I had one with a smaller memory and thus wanted to upgrade. The other one had worked fine for about a yr I think when I decided this. The new one worked fine until a couple wks ago. It just wouldn’t work. I tried to reset it multiple time with no success. Nothing worked. When I contacted the seller, I was skeptical and wasn’t sure what to expect. After explaining the situation, I asked for a new camera. They asked for my address and phone # saying they’d send it right out. Of course, I’m expecting this to maybe take a couple wks but that wasn’t the case. It was on my front door in 3 days and came in from Kentucky according to the return address. I was a little surprised TBH.

Checking the packaging, it’s the same specs as the one I purchased. The memory size was the same 128Gb. I’ve since charged it, set the date/time, etc. It appears to work just as it should. I’ve run it through the day/night setting and no issues there. I even double checked the memory in the properties when I plugged it in. They didn’t try to shortchange me in anyway.

The only thing they asked of me is to please leave them a review of the camera, interaction, etc., which I am happy to do so. Overall, a positive interaction and great customer service! I would recommend them and their camera.

Worked very well for a couple of weeks. Then stopped working altogether. I ended up taking it apart to see what was wrong and found that. The circuit board had it pressed against the battery compartment and pierced the whole into the battery making the entire unit obsolete

The memory card advertised is in a position where it is not easily removable. Peabody camera also comes with a Sim ejection tool which is absolutely useless there is no way to remove the memory card without taking the camera apart and breaking off of the circuit board. Poor Construction

Besides these things it is still very useful. And if not for that would have given at a higher score

Bought for my job. I am a post construction cleaner. I bought it job sites . clients. Ask for something or say you did not clean that or go back and try to say I did not cover or clean that part I can provide proof
