Update: After leaving the review about the soapy taste on the silicone plates, the company reached out and fixed it all + more. When ordering any silicone products, know that you should not submerge them in soapy water. I did not know this prior and have bought so many silicone products for my little one. I did put these plates through the dishwasher, but I would not suggest it. They can really retain the smell and taste of soap. Since finding the soapy smell on the plates, I have ordered bamboo plates and bowls from this company. I actually prefer the bamboo over the silicone. Whatever you decide to purchase, know that this company is dedicated to having quality products and ensuring you are happy. Based on other reviews and my experience with them, I will be a forever customer. Thank you for seeing my original review and making it right. I did not expect the outcome that I got but know that it really put this first time mom at ease. I know I am providing the best for my baby.
Original review: I loved these plates at first. The colors are aesthetically pleasing, the suction is great, and the size is perfect. However, I noticed my daughter not liking anything I served on these plates after a few weeks of use. I thought maybe she was tired of the food but anything and everything I put on was a no-go. She wanted to eat from my plate - even when I was eating the same food!! I ended up seeing a video about silicone retaining soap from washing. I went right to cupboard and smelled the plates and yes - they smelled like an entire bottle of dish soap. I had been hand washing and dishwashing (it says they are dishwasher safe).
