My 4 year old is obsessed with Numberblocks. He has a set of Math Link cubes already, but always wanted the faces and number rings. He receive this set for his birthday. I put the stickers on for him and they were adorable. They look great, work perfectly with his set and he was very happy to have them.
He's had them for 4 days now...on day 2 one of the white faces fell off of the flat square it attaches to - we only found it because it was stuck to the bottom of his sock. We super glued it back on and hoped it was a fluke. Yesterday we noticed that there are 3 or 4 more that are peeling off, and an additional 3 that are peeling - where the colored face is peeling off from the adhesive paper backing. These were almost twice as much as I paid for his other set, and I had planned to get him the 11-20 set for Christmas, but this is a disappointment. I know we're going to end up losing more stickers and several of them are just going to end up being a white piece of sticker when the colored face part peels off. these are disappointing. , which really is the entire point of purchasing the set. If i had known they were going to peel in 2 days, I definitely would not have purchased.
The attached photos are after about 6 weeks of regular play. Several have had to be superglue or mod podged back on. We did end up buying the the 11-20 set also because it was the one thing he asked for fort Christmas, and those are only a few days old ...we glued and sealed them rather than just sticking them on, so hopefully that helps?
We love these, but they are so disappointing. It's a lot of money to just end up with regular math link Cubes a few months later. It would be nice to have a set of replacement stickers in the box if these are going to peel so badly.
