This was a good price for the level of finish and appearance you get: looks like real grasscloth and even feels like it, kind of. Thick, sturdy material. Installation was fairly straightforward on a clean, dry plaster wall that had been freshly painted a six months prior, following directions and also watching youtube how-tos. Hanging a grasscloth paper is in a way the easiest wallpaper since you don't have a pattern to match and the misalignment of the grass fibers is part of the aesthetic. And it looked great for about a week.
Adhesion-wise; it has stuck to the wall okay, but they tell you to overlap it very very slightly at the edges, and it doesn't stay stuck to itself in the overlapped areas, they are curling up, and not responding to smoothing with the flat tools recommended. Which now requires me to take the entire room apart and do supplemental seam gluing, a few feet at a time, with wallpaper seam glue. That's going to take me many days and extra expense, while my room is unusable the whole time, and I'm worried the seam glue application may show when it's all done.
