------ First impressions:
This interface was so comfortable as soon as I put it on that I knew I made the right choice. I didn't want to buy a bunch of accessories right away and narrowed my first choice of accessory to either a third-party facial interface or a third-party head strap. This was so comfy that I don't feel the urgent need to get a new head strap anymore.
------ Glasses spacer:
I got this set because it comes with the XL spacer & the interface works with the OEM spacer too. I've found that I don't actually need the XL spacer because it's actually so thick that the additional distance makes it a little blurry for me. Non-glasses wearers definitely felt it was too blurry for them, so I keep the OEM spacer on now. But I'm still glad I have the XL spacer just in case I get a different pair of frames that require it, or I have a friend who needs it.
------ Foam:
I just use whichever came attached to the interface. I think it's the Standard one, but I think they all feel equally pillowy. I'm glad I got this set that comes with all three so that I have the option to mix and match for whatever distance I (or friends) need between my eyes and the lenses.
------ Width:
I picked this over VR cover's first edition interface partially because a review said the plastic was more flexible and this interface is wider, which both allow for a more versatile fit. I'm really happy with the width because my glasses fit really comfortably now, as opposed to being squeezed in when I used the OEM interface, which always made me worry that my glasses would get misshapen or both sets of lenses would scratch. My face is pretty narrow, and I'd say my glasses are of a pretty standard adult width, so take this into account.
------ Light leakage & nose piece:
Plenty of reviews complain about how the extra vents on the perimeter of this interface leak light into the FOV. I found that the light leakage is not very bright and only noticeable when the FOV is mostly dark. It looks like dark gray dashes around your peripheral vision and I don't even notice them when I'm actively using the Oculus, but everyone's tolerance for visual distraction is different. It is NOTHING compared to the two inches of bright light I could see from the tip of my nose when I was using the OEM interface.
Speaking of, the nose piece helps a ton with the light leakage I was getting before due to my flat nose bridge & small nose. It doesn't create a tight seal or anything, so for the remaining 1/4 inch or so of space, I just use the edge of my fingernail to pull the nose flaps a little further down to be more flush against the sides of my nose. I'd say the light leakage around my nose using this interface is brighter than the light leakage from the vents, but it's definitely tolerable for me and I'll take it over the giant 2 inch gap I had without the nose flaps.
------ Conclusion:
Super happy I got this expansive set so I can mix and match to see what works for me and have options on hand for guests to customize their fit as well. The foam cushion is very comfy, the width is excellent for my glasses, the light leakage is unnoticeable during gameplay, and the nose piece deals with most of the nose gap I have due to my low nose bridge. Definitely recommend if you just got the Oculus Quest 2 and find it uncomfortable.
