The best part is actually something I didn’t expect.
I can plug this battery into my headset before bed and it will charge my headset to 100% and then shut off, It doesn’t OVER CHARGE it!
If you plug your headset into the wall before bed and sleep for 6-8 hours then your headset is fully charged after 2-2.5 hrs but the wall continues to charge it until you unplug it which is bad on the unit.
But also with the battery after waking up to a full headset I still have a half charge which I can use to extend gameplay.

Using fully charged headset in combination with fully charged battery, im looking at 5-6 hours of up time.

Very glad it also has the USB-C so I can use it without having the Headstrap it’s designed for, I velcrowed it to another headstrap.
Honestly it’s much longer than anyone Should spend in a stand alone headset.

I'm not a heavy gamer (4 hours or more in a sitting) so I'd say if you are, you'll need an extra maybe two. This does not give a 3hr charge on its own. With my use (about 3 hrs) that number is a combined estimate between it and the internal battery. Also best to plug this in when the headset is already 100% charged. The headset use the external battery first and when drained will auto-switch to the internal battery. This is where a second battery is beneficial because you can plop on the 2nd and put the 1st on the charger and use them in rotation until you feel you're in your last hour or so of play and then let the internal battery drain out. Keep in mind that when this battery is fully discharged, it takes a long time to fully charge. Also don't assume you'll be able to use it if the internal battery fully depletes this external battery will not recharge the headset fast enough to keep it on and the headset will shut down. Its convenient and stylish but not all that its hyped to be.

I just received my extra battery for my BoBo vr M2 headset. Battery fully charges in about the same time the "pack in battery" is discharged. Now you can play without interruption, just swap and charge the discharged battery. Love the freedom. This will sell a ton of BoBo vr M2 pro headsets and extra batteries.

i was debating this and some kind of mini power bank by anker but read that users have trouble with batteries not designed for headsets. like they fail to charge, auto shut off early, etc. so that leaves us with few options. And i like this one. Went by a recommendation by someone to pair this with BeswinVR P2 Head Back Pads, and the setup is awesome. Counterweight perfectly balances out front weight. stays put. charging features designed for headsets. cheaper than the official offering. what more can you ask for?!

Edit: if you're looking for an alternative, the 10000mAh powerbank by EnergyCell works pretty well. it drains the oculus battery at the same time as the powerbank, but slowly, and if you start with a little oculus battery, you'll run out of both at around the same time. it's got twice the capacity at half the price, which is 4x the value! B2 is nice, but a little expensive when you look at mAh per dollar.

Works great ! Having 2 BoboVR batteries means you're always ready to go for VR. Even if your headset is low, just pop a BoboVR battery on, let it charge the headset while you play, then swap out the battery for your spare and you're still good to go. By the time your 2nd Bobo battery is depleted, your 1st battery is just about fully charged and ready to go for another round.

Overall, having the swappable batteries is a huge convenience and makes for the best Q2 setup
